I love making this Paula Deen basic quiche and being able to change it around however I choose!
Here is the recipe-
6 eggs
3/4 c. heavy cream or half and half1 c. cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
the add-in of your choice
Here are just a few I have tried-
1/2 red onion and thyme (for a meatless option)
8 slices of bacon and thyme
10 mushroom chopped with s7p
1 tomato, parsley and basil
Beat the eggs and add cream and s&p.
Add the cheese and your extra toppings.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes until the edges are brown. Let it cool for about an hour if you are putting it either freezing it or storing in the refrigerator- if you don't it gets extremely soggy. I do also slice all pf them before freezing.
